The Passion Spritz is a passion fruit spritz using the classic spritz ratio of 3 ounces of Prosecco, 2 ounces of passion fruit liqueur, and 1 ounce of seltzer or club soda. Garnish your passion fruit spritz with mint leaves and lime, and you have a lighter version of a passion fruit martini that is the perfect hot weather cocktail meant for sipping on the patio with friends.
2ounces(60 milliliters) passion fruit liqueurrecommend Chinola or Passoa
3ounces(90 milliliters) Prosecco or other sparkling winerecommend extra dry, brut, or even drier
1ounce(30 milliliters) soda wateror other carbonated water

Instructions
Passion Spritz
Add the mint leaves to a cocktail shaker or other sturdy glass and muddle using a muddler or wooden spoon. Muddle just until you can start to smell the mint.

Add the passion fruit liqueur to the shaker and give it a quick stir or light shake to collect the mint oils. Strain into your wine glass.
2 ounces (60 milliliters) passion fruit liqueur
Add 4 or 5 small ice cubes to your wine glass, then slowly pour in the Prosecco and carbonated water.
3 ounces (90 milliliters) Prosecco or other sparkling wine, 1 ounce (30 milliliters) soda water
Give the drink a gentle stir using a bar spoon or chopstick until combined. Top with more ice if desired.
Lightly slap a mint sprig to release its fragrance. Place the mint sprig and lime slice into the glass as garnish. Enjoy!

Notes
Over-muddling mint can make it bitter, so be gentle with your mint and muddle only until you can start to smell it.Muddle in a cocktail shaker or sturdy glass.
