How to Make Simple Syrup

- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup granulated sugar or brown sugar, demerara, honey, etc.
Combine the water and sugar or honey in a small pot and heat over low heat until the sugar dissolves into the water completely.
¼ cup water, ¼ cup granulated sugar
Pour into a small jar and let cool.
Store in the refrigerator for one to two weeks.
You can scale up or down this 1:1 simple syrup recipe as you desire.
